I do not want this to end, but if it has to end, let it end like this.
Dean Deblois brings us the third part of the Dreamworks acclaimed trilogy that all of us fans of animation were waiting for. After enjoying the first two instalments and the incredible Netflix series, we could no longer wait for this end. Hiccup and his friends take us back to the fantastic world of dragons, where thousands of different creatures of vibrant colours, live in peace alongside humans in a small Viking town. But problems will soon come, and Hiccup will realise that an important decision must be made that will decide the future of the union between humans and dragons.
New characters such as the beautiful Light Fury appear in this instalment in which the animation shines on its own without the need for an eloquent narration. However, the narrative develops beautifully, and Hiccup and Toothless are forced in parallel to dedicate themselves to their respective groups and fight against the dragon hunter. In addition, both will discover love and realise the difficulties of their relationship as different species and how the apparent human superiority endangers any kind of peace between species, touching a rather complicated issue at a time whenanimal rights are in their zenith.
It is also especially remarkable the development of new characters, not only new and endearing dragons, but also humans that will make us laugh with their comments and their accents. In addition, characters such as Astrid or the twins develop, and we see how they grow not only physically, but personally. Without a doubt, you will fall in love even more with them, and coming by hand with the best animation... it is incredible. It's just worth it to see Toothless trying to flirt, and feel identified with him.
Thank you Cressida Cowell for creating this beautiful saga, and thank you Dreamworks and all your team for bringing the magic of dragons to our home.
It is worth seeing this film with your family or friends, I assure you that you will laugh and cry. The bigger the screen the better.
