NOTA: 8.5

We are back with an even younger Spiderman! After a short role in Captain America Civil War: where he left us all with the crave for more, the new Spiderman, played by Tom Holland, surprises us in this new Marvel film directed by Jon Watts.
The film is set directly after Captain America's last movie. Spiderman, rather Peter Parker, of just 15 years old, lives his life waiting for Tony Stark to contact him to become part of the Avengers. With this as the plot, we find ourselves within an action teen superhero movie. The film is specially successful in the development of the characters though, as the plot is not really different from that of other superhero movies: there is a villain, a superhero, his friends and the superhero wins in the end. However, in this case, we have never seen such a young superhero taking the leader role in a Marvel film. Nevertheless, taking this risk was clearly worth it, as it depicts the teenage world with great ability. Nevertheless, it is still close to the typical North American teenage movie: pretty girl, geek fat friend, etc. However, by joining these with the Marvel expertise, we get to see a great film, entertaining, funny and interesting.
In fact, in this film, there are some moments in which Watts takes us directly to a comic page, especially during the action and moving scenes.
Also, the villain, the Vulture, played by Michael Keaton, (who finally becomes Birdman), fits perfectly in his part, and favours the development of the main character. His story is then perfectly shaped and knotted with the appearance of his daughter. Without doubts, in the end we want to see more of him in the next sequels.
Moreover, another plus point is that we never see the main character overshadowed by other characters, the Vulture or Iron Man, who plays a key role in this movie. And actually, with this film I started to like Iron Man a little bit more. I like where this is going to.
In short, this is a great movie, although, in my opinion, it is being a little bit overrated. However, it is a good movie that gets to transfer the young Spidey to the Marvel's cinematographic universe. It is fun to watch, visually attractive, with a great cast, and it undoubtedly leave us with the crave for more.
